The streams are going to remain up but we plan on adding some new addition's to the website as well as some old ones. We are currently hiring new DJ's. We're in dire need of them. For Details hit up the chatroom. We have staff in there to help out. Hit you up Later People. - Rick |

What's up HatchetRadio. It's your homie Rick O.. Well I take a look at the site and notice that it's not being kept up. I know I own this ***** but sometimes you get busy about things and you have other people run it. Well in this amount of time nobody has contacted me about the website. So I decided that I was going to assemble a HatchetRadio News Team. People who want to post.
Now for those of you who don't know things. We always hang out in our chatroom. If you want to request, you go there. If you want to talk. You go there. So if you have any questions on anything HR Related hit up the chat. We are hiring DJ's, Webteam, the works. We have a new layout coming out as soon as I can get ahold of Adam to find out what happened with it.
Next things in place. I want to say something to people who have come in over the past couple of years. I want to thank you guys for seriously supporting us. You have no clue how tough it's been being HatchetRadio or being Rick O for that matter when it comes to people. Personally I made alot of bad mistakes in the past that lead to HatchetRadio shutting down for about 2 years. I can gladly admit that there were some close friends that I axed from the station undoubtedly. But we're coming on 7 years ago HatchetRadio was starting to simmer. I can remember when we first started talking about doing something this fresh 7 years ago. This cat named Adam came to me told me that he was onto something and wanted to use some of the clout I had with TheSixth.Com from me working on it. One thing lead to another and we were in like flynn. Our host was a friend of ours named Trey who was trying to run the shoutcast software from his PC.
Undoubtedly it was a bad mistake because at 18 listeners the streams would start to fold up like a fat chick in a port o potty. Honestly we brought this together for everyone to enjoy. We had always promised there would be no money making scheme's with HatchetRadio. That if an artist wanted to debut their albums here or wanted some promotion we'd give it to them with the best of our ability. We've maintained somewhat of a stand offish view of some of the underground acts. We left that up to WickedIntentRadio or whomever else was out there to reclaim what little underground there was.
Practically killed us to get this off the ground but I won't front.. Without the fans of HatchetRadio we'd have folded this ***** up a long time ago. Keep on doing what you do best.
Now I want to get on you guys about something. Something I personally dont' stand for. This doesn't really reflect us in any way shape or form. But I said something about Psycho Sam to Jinxii a few weeks back when I talked to her and DeadBilly. I said that I don't promote shit like that honestly. She told me that a couple of radio stations out there were trying to bomb up off him because he had something to do with them personally.
Honestly, I'm not going to lie. It sucks that 2 people are dead and no telling what that waste of air did to them. But to be quite honest. HatchetRadio never condoned any of that. Look... There comes a time where being wicked is fresh. Keeping it somewhat out of prison away from the electric chair. Defending what's yours no doubt but keeping it real. But when you go out and kill a whole bunch of people and bury them under your house for real. Then there's really some psychological problems out there for other people to easily condone actions like that. Trust me.. I love the wicked shit. Psychopathic Records, Strange Music, Suburban Noise, & many other record labels have always pleased my musical sense. But in all honesty people.. You won't hear them on here. We don't need that kind of publicity.. NO thanks.
None the less that's my opinion. Thanks for payin attention - Rick O |
